Precision Environmental was engaged by Virginia Orfanos to carry out lead paint removal at a residential property in Fairfield. The job ran for three days and focused on safely stripping hazardous coatings from four internal walls and a central brick chimney.
Our team used a combination of chemical stripping agents and mechanical tools to remove lead-based paint from rendered and bare brick surfaces. The internal chimney face was also fully stripped and prepped for repainting. Throughout the job, we maintained full dust control using plastic sheeting, vacuums, and PPE, and followed strict decontamination procedures to protect both our team and the occupants.
All lead-contaminated waste was bagged, labelled, and disposed of at an EPA-approved facility in line with Victoria’s hazardous waste regulations.
