Precision Environmental was brought in by homeowner Steph Rosier to clean up asbestos-contaminated soil that had been left behind by a previous demolition crew. Despite the site being issued with a clearance certificate, significant asbestos debris was found buried across the backyard, leaving the property unsafe.
Over two days, we removed approximately 350mm of Category A asbestos-contaminated soil across a 15m x 30m area. All waste was tracked and disposed of at an EPA-licensed facility in full compliance with regulations.
After excavation, we brought in certified clean fill and carried out a full chicken pick surface validation to confirm the site was asbestos-free. We then provided updated documentation so the client could move forward with landscaping and future use of the property, confident that the job had been done properly this time.
