Precision Environmental was engaged by Express Demolition to assist with the clean-up of a severely fire-damaged residential property in Mooroopna. The house had been extensively damaged by fire, leaving behind structural instability, asbestos contamination, and burnt debris that needed urgent and professional removal.
Our team was brought in to support the demolition process by handling all hazardous material removal on site. This included identifying and safely removing asbestos-containing materials, which were present in multiple areas of the structure. We carried out the removal under strict WorkSafe Victoria guidelines, using wet methods, full PPE, and air monitoring where required.
Once all asbestos was safely removed and the structure was knocked down, we completed a full site clean-up of all remaining burnt materials, charred timbers, and general construction waste. All contaminated waste was loaded, transported, and disposed of at a licensed EPA-approved facility.
The job was completed efficiently and safely, with strong communication between our crew and Express Demolition to ensure everything stayed on track and compliant.
