Precision Environmental was engaged by a private client to carry out a full mould remediation at a double-storey residence in Garfield Street, Richmond. The job involved treating six rooms affected by mould, including both ceilings and walls that had suffered from prolonged moisture issues.
To prevent cross-contamination, we set up full containment zones around each affected room using sealed plastic sheeting and negative air units fitted with HEPA filters. Our team removed visible mould from plasterboard surfaces, treated all affected areas with an industry-grade antimicrobial agent, and used HEPA vacuums and air scrubbers to eliminate airborne spores.
Contaminated materials were bagged, wrapped, and transported to an EPA-licensed disposal facility. All works were completed safely and in line with WorkSafe Victoria guidelines for mould remediation.
The job was finished on 4 February 2025 with full clearance, and the property was left clean, safe, and ready for reoccupation.
