Precision Environmental was engaged by Sunshine Hospital to carry out mould remediation works following the discovery of black mould behind wall linings in two separate rooms.
Our team constructed full containment bubbles around each affected area to prevent airborne mould spores from spreading throughout the hospital. Negative air machines fitted with HEPA filters were used to maintain safe pressure within the work zones.
All contaminated linings were safely removed and disposed of in accordance with WorkSafe Victoria and EPA guidelines. Once exposed, all framing and internal structures were treated using hospital-grade biocide to ensure complete removal of active mould spores and prevent future regrowth.
The site was left clean, treated, and ready for reconstruction.
