Precision Environmental was engaged directly by Niddrie Primary School to carry out asbestos clean-up and soil remediation works over the 2023–2024 summer break. The job ran for two weeks and was completed just after the new year.
Our scope included the removal of asbestos cement wall sheeting and bonded mastic, followed by a detailed clean-up of legacy asbestos debris that had built up under the subfloor areas. Once the visible contamination was cleared, we carried out targeted excavation and soil remediation in accordance with EPA Victoria guidelines.
All waste was double-wrapped, tracked, and disposed of at a licensed EPA facility. Works were done under our Class B asbestos removal licence, with controls in place to protect nearby classrooms and ensure the site was safe and ready for the school’s return.
If your school, early learning centre or government site needs asbestos clean-up or contaminated soil removed, Precision Environmental can get it sorted — safely, efficiently, and fully compliant with WorkSafe and EPA standards.
