Precision Environmental was engaged directly by Ramsay Clinic to remove asbestos-containing glue (commonly known as Blackjack) from Level 3 of their Albert Road facility. The job ran over three weeks and was carried out while the building remained operational, which required a staged and highly controlled approach.

Our team set up multiple mini enclosures to contain each work area without disrupting nearby hospital rooms and corridors. The asbestos adhesive was removed from the concrete floors using controlled sandblasting techniques, with full dust suppression in place.

To manage risk in the live healthcare environment, we used HEPA-filtered vacuums, negative air units, and wet methods throughout the job. All removal activities were completed under our Class B asbestos licence and in full compliance with WorkSafe Victoria and EPA regulations.

Despite the complexity of working inside an active medical facility, the job was completed safely, quietly, and with zero disruption to hospital operations.

If you need asbestos glue or adhesive removed from a live environment, Precision Environmental delivers clean, quiet, and compliant results across hospitals, aged care, and sensitive sites throughout Victoria.
